Description :: Filet mignon served with canna creamy prawn sauce
1.
First thing preheat ya oven to 200c and have the tray that you gonna
cook ya steaks on in there so it gets hot. Now trim excess fat off ya
bacon and wrap around your steaks and where it overlaps stick a
toothpick in to hold it in place. Put on your hot oven tray and put in
oven 15min rare 20min med rare 25min med all chips are differant so
cook them as the bag says.
2. Now for the sauce you need to get ya canna butter and crush ya garlic and cook in a fry pan untill lightly browned.
3. Now add the cream and the stock cube make sure you keep stiring it or it will burn.
4. Once boiling turn down to a light simmer and add ya wine and chopped dill.
5. Now keep stiring and add ya prawns when ya sauce starts to thicken abit.
6.
Once prawns have gone a redy orange colour they are ready now to
thicken the rest of the sauce get ya corn flour and put into a small
container and a very small amount of water and mix untill disolved now
add this to the sauce and keep stiring as it will thicken up quickly
(the water and flour stops the sauce going lumpy)
7.
remove ya steaks from the oven and let stand for about 3-4min this will
relax the meat and make it more tender put ya steaks on a warm plate
add ya chips and then spoon the sauce on top.
Enjoy!!!!!
