Miso Soup

  • 1 packet dried shitaki mushrooms (or fresh if ya can get them)
  • 4 tbls miso paste
  • 1 packet Wakami (seaweed)
  • 1 slab tofu
  • 4-5 spring onions
  • 2 tbls sesame oil


This will make enough for 2 people if serving more then double the recipe

1. Get your dried shitaki mushrooms and soak them in boiling water if you can soak them over night.


2. In a large soup pot add your oil and some canna butter if you wish and add your finely chopped spring onions and cook untill softened.


3. To your pot add 2 cups water and 2 cups of the mushroom juice and chop your mushrooms and add them as well.


4. Mix your miso paste with some boiling water and add to the soup.


5. Get your tofu and cut into small squares about an inch each and add to your soup.


6. Last but not all least cut your dried wakami up and add to the soup and boil untill it goes soft.


Ladel into hot bowls and sprinkle some chopped spring onion on top
